Location to the train station could not get closer. Walking distance to shopping and museums. Quite clean and had AC when it got hot and sticky in the city.

The Weihnachsmarkt had a very nice atmosphere with good food and drinks. The city center has all the usual shops. Grimmwelt is a very extensive museum with a nice (but expensive) Speisewirtschaft. The annoying thing about Kassel is that they close a lot of things during certain periods of time.
